Project Description
HMS has been under contract with Hawaiian Electric since 2012, for multiple cable replacement projects in subdivisions throughout the Island of Oahu. These proactive projects are designed to replace the failing direct buried medium and low voltages circuits that were installed over 20+ years ago. Work includes the installation of transformers, duct banks, manholes and handholes. New medium and low voltage cabling, including VLF testing and terminating, are also included in our scope. Power outages for circuit cutovers are well planned to minimize disruptions for the residents. 2012 to Present.
